Ho Chi Minh city to reopen and lift restriction from October 1

The downward trend of COVID-19 infections and a high rate of vaccination signal the day that Ho Chi Minh city reopen its economy.

A new directive on pandemic control after Sept. 30 in HCMC was rolled out with specific guidance on easing Covid-19 restrictions gradually. The city plans to “live with the virus”, and allows more businesses and social activities to take place.

With these positive signs, we hope that HCMC can return to its normal state soon.
